Located in Javea’s port, Tango Bay is a picturesque, protected area that’s now closed due to erosion. However, a restaurant overlooking the bay offers stunning views, and the nearby San Antonio lighthouse makes for a scenic walk.
La Grava
In the heart of Javea's port, La Grava is a stony beach for those who prefer less sand. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, it’s a bustling area, and a great place for early morning swims.
El Montañar
This rocky coastline between the Arenal and the Port is ideal for a relaxed day on the rocks and swimming in the sea. Seasonal chiringuitos (beach bars) open in the summer months, and water sports are available nearby.
El Arenal
Javea’s main beach, El Arenal, offers soft sand, gentle waters, and activities from volleyball to boat rentals. A wide promenade lined with quality bars and restaurants makes it family-friendly and vibrant, especially in the summer with lifeguards on duty.
Cala Blanca
South of the Arenal, Cala Blanca is a rocky spot perfect for fishing, diving, and snorkelling. The recently updated deck offers beautiful sea views, while anchored boats make it a picturesque scene.
La Barraca
Accessible by a scenic coastal road, La Barraca is a sandy-stony beach with views of Portichol Island. It’s a popular spot with a small restaurant specialising in seafood, making it ideal for a quieter beach day.
Ambolo
Once a designated nudist beach, Ambolo is currently closed due to erosion, but it remains visible from the Ambolo Mirador, where visitors can enjoy its natural beauty from above.
Granadella
Famed for its turquoise waters and idyllic setting, Granadella Beach is a small stony cove that’s won numerous awards as one of Spain’s top beaches. A couple of nearby restaurants add convenience to this postcard-perfect location.
