Local News | International Schools in Javea: My Experience

I'm excited to share a bit about my life in Javea. A journey that began at the age of five, attending Lady Elizabeth School which led to working as an estate agent right here in my hometown.  

Back then, Lady Elizabeth School was a small organisation, and it's incredible to see how it has grown into a well-known international school alongside XIC. More families move to Javea every day, specifically for their children's education, and not forgetting the lifestyle.

From my personal experience it is a fantastic advantage to have been able to attend an international school, locally here in Spain. It has provided me with a unique, educational experience, opening my eyes to different cultures and meeting people from all over. It was like having a passport without leaving home.

Thanks to the high quality teaching staff, internationally recognized curricula, and global community connections, this lead me on my journey to secure a bachelor’s degree in international Events Management back in Greenwich, London.

Studying in Greenwich was a fantastic experience, and it equipped me with the skills needed to bring knowledge and an international perspective back to Javea. The mix of the hustle and bustle of London with the laid-back charm of my hometown became a unique blend that shaped my career as an estate agent.

Alongside international, there are also local schools offering a Spanish curriculum. Children attending these schools can study the equivalent of A levels, known as "Bachillerato," enabling them to pursue higher education at university or further on in their studies.

Lady Elizabeth school provided me with skills that come in handy every day as an estate agent. From talking to people from different backgrounds to understanding global real estate trends.  Both international and local schools here in Javea offer a solid foundation.

Thanks to the journey from the small Lady Elizabeth School, with the presence of XIC and the option of local schools, I can confidently say that diverse educational opportunities in Javea broadens horizons and sets the stage for a successful future.
