Spain News | Making plans for Easter in Javea?
For more than 40 years, Holy Week in Xàbia has been linked to the Craft Fair. The historic center of the town is the epicenter of unique, handmade products, gastronomy, music and workshops. This fair is joined by that of the Associations in the Plaza de la Iglesia on Easter Sunday, a tradition that cannot be missed.
But also, this year has a novelty. And it is that, in addition to the Crafts Fair, the Local Organic Agriculture Fair is added.
Friday April 7
- 08:30 hours: Traditional chocolate with mona for the participants of the Stations of the Cross in the Municipal Market of Xàbia. Xàbia Town Hall collaborates.
- 12:00 pm: Inauguration of the Fair, enlivened by the Colla Xirimitab's.
- 12:30 pm: Concert 'La Joia Més Preada', a story by Pepa Guardiola, by Xirimitab's in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
- 6:00 pm: Small-format show called 'Contes viatgers', with stories and live music by Rodamons Teatre at Placeta del Convent.
Saturday April 8
- From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Fireworks of local agricultural products (fruit, vegetables, oil, wine, honey, jam,...) in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
- 11:00 a.m.: Citrus juice workshop in the space located in the Fireta for local agricultural products.
- 11:30 a.m.: Beeswax candle making workshop – Space located in the Fireta for local agricultural products - maximum 15 children. Reservations to WhatsApp 667 690 785-
- 12:00 pm: Parade and street entertainment with La Romàntica del Saladar. For the Fair.
- 6:00 p.m.: Round of Contes: Contant i Cantant, a show made for all those who want to participate with their stories, anecdotes, poems, sayings and more. A space where anyone can express what they want in relation to stories, traditions and memory, a time to share between parents, children, grandparents and friends, and the Rodamons Teatre company. Come with your story. In the Placeta del Convent.
- From 18:00 h. “Cantant i ballant la tradició”, with the Grup de Danses Portitxol – The church square.

Sunday April 9
- 12:00 pm: Passeig Rodamons for the Fair; a little music in your purchases. By Rodamons Teatre – For the Fair.
- All morning: Meeting of clubs and associations of Xàbia in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
- 6:00 p.m.: Romanceries. Show to close the festive weekend and 'Let's all enjoy the Xàbia Fair' with Rodamons Teatre in the Placeta del Convent
Monday April 10
- 11:00 am: Free workshops for boys and girls on ceramic sound mobiles and Mudejar ceramics, at Terrissería Inma Juan i Francis Benitez-Tambor de Luna, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
- 12:00 pm: Klandestino of Lindy Hop and social, by the La Marina Lindy Hop school in the Placeta del Convent.
- In addition, the Museu Soler Blasco, located in the historic center of Xàbia, will remain open Thursday 6, Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
