Local News | A fantastic result from our 20km charity walk in Jávea

After weeks of planning, preparation and plenty of anticipation, our 20km charity walk has come to a brilliant close, and what a way to celebrate 20 years of Javea Home Finders.

We are delighted to share that the original total raised reached an incredible €7,150!

Supporting three wonderful local charities

Every euro raised has gone towards three very deserving causes across Jávea:

• Sanju Kitten Rescue
• MABS Cancer Support Fundación Jávea
• Balcón al Mar Voluntarios Firefighters

These organisations do vital work within the local community, and we are proud to support them.              

A real team effort around Jávea

The walk itself took us through different parts of Jávea, making the most of the coastline and local areas that make this town so special. It was a day full of energy, support and determination, with everyone coming together for a shared goal.

This event would not have been possible without the support, generosity and effort of so many people. From those who walked every step, to those who donated, sponsored or helped behind the scenes, every contribution truly mattered.

The celebrations and fundraising are not over yet.

We are hosting a 20 Year Charity Quiz:

Friday 19th June 2026 at 6pm
Cortados Café in the Port of Jávea
€10 entry per person

All proceeds will go to the same three charities. Javea Home Finders will be providing drinks, sandwiches and a raffle on the night.

A celebration to remember

This walk was about more than just completing 20km. It was about bringing people together, supporting local charities and celebrating an important milestone for Javea Home Finders.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. The generosity shown has been outstanding, and we look forward to continuing our support for these fantastic local causes.
